Did inspection with Ethan and Mike. 9 o'clock tour never showed, so all the zip guides did some raking and grounds work, then i took Mike and Marissa up to trim branches on the "low road" hike up to the top of the zipline course. I did a couple maintenance things on the way back down, had lunch, then rode the bus up to the top of the course with the 2 o'clock tour. I watched them leave platform one, then brought the tools we'd left up there back down on the bus. Got to do some Segway riding as i fetched tools. I stayed until the tour came back in, then went home.

Dead dead dead day. Big Mike and i did inspection. There was a lot of hanging around, then after lunch, Tim and i pulled the ropes and we all went home.

Took Ethan, Mike, Kate, and Tim out on a mock tour in the morning so Ethan could practice leading. Swept a tour of two people with Tim on lead at 1 o'clock, then drove down to Concord for the class of '84 reunion dinner. My brother Jason was there, as well as a classmate of mine, David, who i hadn't seen or heard from since graduation.

Had brunch at CA with some folks, then drove down to Providence to drop off a bed frame to Nina. Hung there for an hour or so, then drove home.

Wrote a thing about abortion.

Don and i got on FaceTime and recorded Episode 1 of our podcast, We Think We're Famous.

Did inspection with Ethan, helped out in the Adventure Zone, then led a zip tour of four with Ethan on sweep. After that i helped out in the challenge course until the end of the day.

Did inspection with Tim. Took Tim, Ethan, and Nicky out to do some rescues off of zip 1, then zipped on down as it started to rain. Everybody went home just before noon.

Did inspection with Mike, then led a tour of two with Mike as sweep. Ethan and Tim left a rescue bag on Tower 6 which Mike and i then forgot to grab, so i rode up in the bus and zipped through to pick up the bag, then led a tour of a mom and four very lightweight girls with Nicky on sweep. I had to throw catch-ropes to three of them on Zip 5 and i had to retrieve two of them (both my fault—bad throws) on Zip 7. There weren't any afternoon tours, so Ethan, Mike, Kate, Nicky, and i went out to train a little bit, then pull the ropes.

Got up super early and drove down to Devens, MA to be an Observer for the Boston Invite ultimate tournament. I observed Frolic vs. Vintage (women's pool play), Dig vs. Blueprint (men's semi), and AMP vs. Slow White (mixed final). I expected a better game in the final, as both of these teams had won nationals, but AMP took half 8-1 and won the game 15-7.

After i got home that evening, Don and i were joined by Damon for Episode 2 of We Think We're Famous.

Did half of inspection with Kate, then got a ride back down to run a tour of two with Sam. Pulled ropes with Sean.

Led a tour of two with Kate, then a tour of one with Ethan.

Did inspection with Tim, then Tim, Ethan, Mike, Liz, and i did a combo tour of ten college kids. I led the first group with Tim and Liz on sweep. Mike led the second with Ethan on sweep. Mike and Ethan took out an afternoon tour and snapped the shock-pack on Zip 7.

Due to the broken shock-pack, all the morning tours were cancelled and i went in at nine and worked in the Adventure Zone all day. It was slow and we had three lightning delays, then a torrential downpour for about ten minutes at the end of the day.

That evening, Don, Damon, and i recorded Episode 3 of We Think We're Famous.
