Drove down to Shunk. Arrived at about 9:30 PM to find my parents there, waiting for me to turn the water on, which i did.

Rainy day. Mommy and i put in stakes for where to plant the dawn redwood trees. Parents left in the afternoon. I went down to the other house and watched The Lego Movie 2 with everybody.

Beautiful day. I got all of the deck furniture out, removed the remnants of Poppop's duck blind, set up the trampoline, took stuff to the vegetative dump, and had dinner down at the other house.

Rain again. Dreary drive home, with a stop at Zombie Planet in Albany.

Went in to work to meet all the other supervisors/leads and prepare for training.

First day of challenge course training.

Day two of challenge course training. Marissa had found a robin's nest under one of the platforms.

Day one of zipline training.

Day two of zipline training. In the morning i did a stupid thing by climbing up on one of the towers from the ground. I should not have done it but got caught up with seeing if it was possible. Everett told me to go home for the day, which i did, feeling foolish.

Day three of zipline training. I was back, humbled.

I set up a GoPro to do a timelapse at the farm, but something got set wrong and after a week and a half, i discovered that instead of timelapse photos, i'd gotten about six hours of video. Rrrgh.

Orientation meeting in the morning, followed by lunch (provided) and a brand awareness meeting in the afternoon.

First day of summer operations. Kate, Mike, Big Mike, Tim, and i did inspection. I stopped on zips 2 and 5 to trim some branches. I led a two-person tour with Kate as sweep. Mike shadowed me on lead, Tim shadowed Kate. Did my first retrieval ever on zip 2. After that, i led an eight-person tour with Tim on sweep. Had to do one retrieval on zip 7.

Did inspection with Tim, Mike, and Big Mike. Led two tours with Mike on sweep, one of eight, one of four. Sam shadowed Mike on the second tour. Had to do another retrival on zip 2 during the first tour.
