Thomas and i built a new bridge to replace bridge #4.

Picked up my Trooper from Scott Quail. He replaced the radiator and the muffler, both of which were pretty shot. I also picked blueberries and made 2 batches of Jamly (some sorta not-quite jelly / not-quite jam) and one batch of jam.

I built a new swing for my mom.

Rare situation where both of the dogs were looking generally at a camera while i was sitting with them.

Took the dogs for a walk around the lake in the morning, then drove back home to Vermont.

Heather came in to work at the sign shop and after about 1/2 an hour, quit. She took her stuff and walked out. Weird.

Her computer access was disabled and all the locks on the building were changed before noon.

At the end of ultimate practice in Rutland, Seera was there but Teco was not. I walked around the school where we play, looking for him, but couldn't find him. Bruce, one of the other players, drove around the block but didn't see him, so he lent me his cell phone and i tried to call in to my home phone to get my messages, but it wouldn't work.

I tried to think of someone to call to figure out how to get my messages and the only number i could think of was my brother Ian in Albuquerque. he wasn't there, but his wife Crystal gave me the number for Vermont Telephone, which i called. The tech support guy had to spend 5 minutes searching before he found out how i could call in to my phone to get my messages.

So i had 3 messages. The first one was from some woman who found Teco in the parking lot of the Rutland Hospital (directly across the street from the school where we play ultimate). The second one was from the security office at the hospital. the third was from the Rutland Police. Sigh. I called the police and they got in touch with the animal control officer, who was just about to drop off Teco at the pound. He said he'd meet me at the Police Station, so i drove down there and waited for about 20 minutes and he arrived with my bad dog and gave me a half-hearted talk about leashes, but i didn't have to pay anything, which was good.

Yum.

Took a long looping hike through the woods out to Beaver Meadow Road and back up and over to my starting point at the end of Centerville Road.

Charlie and i installed the new sign i made at the top of the driveways. I forgot to take a picture until a couple days later.

Picked a bucket of blackberries and made 2 batches of blackberry jelly. Then Charlie and i packed up all his stuff into my empty Trooper.

Rainy day. Charlie and the dogs and i left early and drove into NYC. We found his new dorm at NYU and i double-parked for a while so that we could unload Charlie's stuff. The dogs sat patiently in the truck. JUST as we got back down after the last load, a parking officer was walking up to my truck. I said i was leaving and he moved on to the car behind me (also double-parked) to write a ticket.

I drove Charlie up to the main NYU campus, we found a parking space, and he took me to lunch in the dining hall. The dogs again waited patiently.

Finally, Charlie went off to meet friends, and i hit the FDR North to the Taconic Parkway and on up to Vermont.

More path exploration, wandering around all the entrances from a set of fields.
