Hiked from the end of Wallingford Pond road down the AT/LT a bit.

Drove into Rutland after work to go shopping. Took the dogs and walked around the fields behind the Hannaford supermarket.

My dogs were taunting this cow. No one was hurt.

Snow!
All melted.

I drove into Rutland and bought a couple of work lights to use in a photo shoot i was going to do for Okemo. I tried 'em out by shooting the soup i was making in my crock pot. It's a little funky looking because i was shooting through the glass lid, which had a lot of moisture on it.

Norm and i drove up to the summit today. Well, to the point on Mountain Road where Rum Run joins it. We hiked up Rum Run and i climbed way up on a shaky ladder to put 5 patches on the big trail map sign at the summit. Beautiful day up there.

A box of flyers in the Signshop.
Did the food photo shoot today. This was Coleman Brook Tavern and Siena food and it wasn't as pretty as the Epic food i'd shot earlier.
When i was out walking the dogs, these young cows were by the fence and one of them licked my glove. Huge tongue.

One of only 2 pics i shot today. Rained all day.

Scenes in my yard.

I took the trash and recycling over to the transfer station in Wallingford, then walked the dogs over to Elfin Lake and back, then across the new footbridge over the Otter Creek to the Wallingford playing fields. After that i went over to this guy Cliff's house and he took me over to the old dairy building that he owned to see if i could get his vinyl cutter up and running. His building was full of old tools, mechanical music machines, and various steam-powered things. I was there for about 3 hours and got the vinyl cutter running while the dogs roamed around the building.
Went and saw the cows again. They're getting a little less afraid.
I drove over to Japanese Auto after work because one of my belts had been squealing every time i started my truck in the morning. One of the mechanics spent about half an hour under my truck tightening the belts.
Shot some pics of an old plane that Bruce Darrow had just bought.
Rainy day. Took the dogs out after work as it was getting dark and shot some flash pics in the field. The lens hood cast a shadow.

Worked until about 11:00, came home, took the dogs out for a walk, then packed up some stuff and drove down to Juliet's house in Sudbury, Mass. for Thanksgiving. When i got there, Margaret, Henry, and Juliet were there (as well as Elliot and Justin, Juliet's kids, who were upstairs somewhere). About 5 minutes later, Edna and Greg and their kids showed up. Then about 5 minutes after that, Nina and Mark and their kids showed up.
Delicious dinner, complete with Isabella smashing Margaret's pie. I spent the night on the downstairs couch, which was super soft.
I got up and had pie for breakfast. Hung around the house for a while and had pie for lunch, then drove down to Javaspeed Scooters in Providence.
Pat wasn't at the Scooter shop, but he showed up soon and i hung out until they closed, then we went downtown to a trendy little mexican food place where i had some spicy turkey soup and empanadas (i.e., pie). After that we walked over to a Starbucks and had mint brownies and hot chocolate.
Pat dropped me off at my truck and i drove back up to Juliet's.
Hung around Juliet's until i got ahold of Nancy Nicholson. I drove in to Medford and visited with her and her cute kids for an hour or so, then drove back out to Sudbury, where all of the Kolm girls and their families (including Cornelia's family this time) had gathered again.
I stayed there for about an hour, then drove home to waiting pups.
Took the dogs out to the "top of the world" field. They found a deer carcass in the woods. As i was walking along the edge of the field, a hunter walked by and said something like "god-damned nature walkers!" Then he turned to me and yelled at me for walking my dogs when people were out hunting.
I left for work before dawn and stayed there until after it was starting to get dark. Didn't walk the dogs. Forgot to take any pictures.
