Went to Syvert's 60th birthday party at the Sugar House. The Chris Kleeman band was playing WAY too loud for the room and the 20 or so people that were there.

Got up and drove down to Shunk, where i met my mother. We spent the weekend putting boats and swings in and shutting down the house for the winter.

Always leave one kayak out until the last minute.

Closed up the house, drove home. (I was "sick" from work today.)

Drove down to Littleton through the rain. Edna and Greg were out of town, so the babysitter and the kids and i watched "Beverly Hills Chihuahua". Um... no comment.

Regionals. I was head Observer and had a crew of 4 for the weekend. We observed a couple of open games in the last round.

I was watching one of the Masters games and saw my friend Brian Cleary playing with Mt. Crushmore (that's him with the disc above). He saw me and pointed to the guy next to him. It was Paul Field, who also played in Albuquerque with me and Brian. Hadn't seen him in 8 or 9 years.

That night the kids wanted to watch "Benji" and i was stunned and amazed at how incredibly AWFUL that movie is. Geez. We skipped the middle 4/5ths of the movie and didn't really miss anything. Then we watched Eddie Murphy's movie "Imagine That!" It was pretty ok.

Day 2 of Regionals, when things can get heated. Fortunately, people played nice. I opbserved the Masters final between DoG and GLUM and watched GLUM pretty much outplay DoG while DoG self-destructed. There was one point when a few DoG players were yelling at one of their guys to stay on his man and the player turned his head and yelled "SHUT! UP!" at the sideline. I had to suppress a laugh.

Stopped by Edna & Greg's after the tournament, but they were out having dinner, so i drove home.

Shot about 100 pictures of very very pretty food for Okemo's Epic restaurant. Some of 'em came out pretty nice, considering that we were using natural sunlight for the shoot.

First snow of the season!

Still a dusting of snow on the peaks to the north. I walked around the "top of the world" field and shot a panorama from the highest point.

Mmmmm.... beetle... i mean, cookie.

Norm drove me around the mountain access roads so that i could patch all of the big trail maps. This is looking down Nor'easter.

Walked north on the tracks all the way out to the bridge over Route 140.

Only took 2 pics today, neither of which were very good. This is a folding chair.

On my way home from work, i was behind a State Trooper. He pulled off and then when i passed by, he pulled back on the road behind me, then pulled me over. Why, you ask? because i have window tinting on my front side windows. He gave me a warning.

Made some chocolates for Halloween.

Heavy rain in the afternoon. Only got 2 trick-or-treaters.
