The first pic above is of a 24" x 36" piece of sign plastic. The markings on it were left in the process of peeling a piece of adhesive vinyl off of the board.

I took my truck in to Japanese Auto to get my yearly inspection. It had expired the day before. While i was waiting i took pictures of a junked trailer next to the shop. Then i went to play ultimate.

More rain.

After work i drove up to the firetower at the Okemo summit. That pic is looking vaguely northwest.

I was sick today and i forgot to take any pictures.

I took a short walk with Wendy York out by the big flood prevention dam in Ludlow. Those are Okemo's South Face trails in the background.

I was taking some pics at ultimate and i happened to look up and see this plane just coming out of the clouds. I snapped a pic fast.

I got up early and drove in to Rutland to get my oil changed at Midas. While i was waiting i walked over to Home Depot and browsed, but didn't buy anything.

Drove down towards Weston and up Jenny Coolidge road to its end, then hiked up a ways.

I won Okemo's Peak Performer award today. I'd known that i'd won for about a week. I think there was only one other person in the running. So i had to endure balloons and a speech and pictures and all that crap.

I got a new lens for my camera today. I was supposed to take pictures of the band at the Jackson Gore Music Series concert so i wanted to get a better lens before that. The lens arrived today and i went back to Okemo to shoot, but they moved the concert into the Ice House at the last minute, so i didn't shoot much. I did go out and get a pic of one of the new disc golf holes though.

The band playing is Adam Payne and 2Adam12. They had 3 guitarists, 2 of whom are named Adam.

Seera was coughing because she'd just gulped a bunch of water out of the stream.

Hiked up the AT and then off around other trails until i came out at the railroad tracks, which i followed back to the truck.

Mommy and Daddy arrived today for a short visit.

I went to work while my parents stayed at my house. When i got back in the afternoon, Mommy and i took the dogs for a walk around the cemetary. That evening we went out to dinner at the 99 Restaurant in Rutland. The waiter was SUPER-annoying and the food was pretty much 100% deep-fried.

I went to work, parents went to Boston, rain came in again.

KC and i spent an hour or so attaching all of the numbered sap buckets to the tops of the disc golf holes. Nice diversion from the signshop.

I was feeling kinda down when i took the dogs out for a walk and i was driving up this dirt road and saw a field on top of a hill and i decided to stop there and walk and it was so beautiful. There was a corn field on one side and all long the edge of this field were HUGE ripe raspberries which i was eating as i walked along, and then we got up to the top of the hill and you could see for miles and in the next field over were a bunch of horses. Man, made my day.

I drove up to the Okemo summit again to see if i could take enough pictures to make a 360-degree picture from the fire tower. It didn't quite work.

After that i went over to the new disc golf course and shot a round. Got a 1-under par for 9 holes. Then i shot some pics of me putting, which was tricky, holding the camera in my left hand and putting with my right.

Explored the old Green Mountain Turnpike next to Route 103. The pic is actually looking DOWN a stream as it tumbles through a little gully.

Took the dogs out for a hike as i rode my bike towards Wallingford Pond.

There was a raccoon stuck in the dumpster at work.

I got a new Sigma 17-70 lens today for my camera and used it to take a picture of Teco, who was very wet from being at ultimate practice, where it rained the whole time.

When Seera drinks, she drools.
