Took 10 pictures.I used this pic on a marketing card for Siren Interactive. The caption was, "everybody else is green with envy". |
Took 13 pictures.I took the dogs out along the Salt Creek. They got up ahead of me and then i heard a lot of wild screaming and barking. I came around a corner of the path and managed to pull both dogs off of this raccoon, who was still alive and fighting, but it really looked like the dogs had broken its back. I hung out with it for a while with the dogs obediently staying away. |

Took 10 pictures.Went over to the local elementary school to vote today before i went to work. Chicago uses punch-ballots, of all things! |
Took 10 pictures. The Prairie Bread Kitchen always looks good at night and i wanted to get a nice picture of it, but this one came out blurry. Looks OK at this small size though. Bought a ticket to see Jurassic 5. |

Took 20 pictures.I took the L down to the Riviera that night to see Jurassic 5. At first the bouncers wouldn't let me in with my camera, but after i saw them let someone in with a digital camcorder, i talked them into letting me in as well, and true to my word, i told them i wasn't going to take any pictures of the band and i didn't. Whitney Asher was at the show too and we hung out, looking for a couple other ultimate players who said that they'd be there. Never saw 'em though. Good show. |

Took 19 pictures.I went down to Washington Park to play ultimate and take pictures of leaves on the dirt path surrounding the park. When i got back i took the dogs out to Thatcher Woods. The des Plaines river was pretty low, which enabled me to get out on a spit of dry land and take this shot underneath the middle span of the Lake Street bridge. |
Took 19 pictures.That's a mirror-image of me, 'cause i shot this pic into a mirror. |
Took 15 pictures.I know i've said it a lot, but it's just so cool to see these huge freight trains go right by you on that platform. |
Took 13 pictures. My brother Jason was visiting (after getting back from Navy Reserve Boot Camp at the Great Lakes Training Center) and we decided at the last minute to go see Peter Gabriel at the United Center, so i hopped online and bought tickets for the next night. |
Took 11 pictures. There's something sorta spooky about this picture in a kindof cartoony way... Not a bad Peter Gabriel show, if a bit stagey. The opening act was The Blind Boys of Alabama, who were great. |
Took 5 pictures.Jason visited the office, and he came with me on my afternoon walk around Oak Park. |

Took 20 pictures.Rob at the Monday morning meeting at Siren Interactive. After i moved into my house in Berwyn, i found 5 magnetic letters in various places when i was remodeling the kitchen. The best word that i could spell with them was Gnaxp. |
Took 19 pictures. My friend Jason Lehrer had an idea of doing a coffee-table book of photographs of only these cement and steel building corner protectors. Do they have a name? If you steal this idea, you have to pay Jason. |

Took 8 pictures.I took pictures in daylight on the 22nd. I think sometimes i don't take pictures during the day if it's gray and overcast, but when you're shooting every day, you can't wait for good days. I went down to Metro that night to see Mission of Burma in concert. Great show. I hadn't seen them since Caroline and i went to see them at the 930 Club in DC in 1982. |
Took 58 pictures.Saturday November 23 was one of the highest days for number of pictures taken. It started out with the usual dog-walking excursion, but then that evening i went downtown to HotHouse to see Thomas Mapfumo play. I got down to HotHouse at about 8:45 but found out that they weren't even opening the doors until 9:30, so i started wandering along the lake front and went all the way down to Navy Pier, shooting the lights of Chicago the whole way. I like this graffito. It says, "I want to remember to forget you forgot me." So the lights of Navy Pier were just a wonderland to take pictures of. Eventually i made it back to HotHouse and saw the band and took a couple of pictures, but i didn't push my way in close. I was on the guestlist for that show, which was nice, but i didn't meet the band. |
Took 14 pictures.I drove out to Oak Brook Mall and stopped by some woods i'd never been to before on the way back. That night it snowed a little bit. |

Took 14 pictures.Thanksgiving. I took the dogs out for a long walk that day, but i'm not sure what else i did. |
Took 11 pictures. On the 29th i drove out to Shiller Park Woods and met up with Natalie and her dog Honey. I'm sorry but dogs like that do NOT need coats like that. After lunch at a diner, i picked up Paul and Wendy's dog Iniki from a kennel and took all three dogs out to the woods again, lucky dogs. |
Took 25 pictures. On Saturday the 30th i stayed home and shot a lot of pictures in my basement. Taking pictures inside make you appreciate sunlight. |
