At Johnson Field, where we play ultimate, there was some promotional thing going on where people got free Little Caesars pizza. After they wrapped up and were leaving, the Little Ceasars guys came over and gave us ultimate players all of the leftover pizzas. Yum! |
Called Subia, but they had no work, so i went down to the Natural History museum. On my way home i bought a new voltage regulator for my van. |
Again no work at Subia, so i went down to the museum again. Today i bought a new muffler and tailpipe for the van. |
No Subia work, but museum work again. |
No work at either place. Used my van to load in 17 reasons Why for a gig at the Fat Chance Bar & Grill. |
Packed up for another ultimate trip, this time to Tucson. Larry Kepley, Rod Klein, and i in Larry's Subaru. We got in at 1:30 AM and slept on the fields. |
Tucson Uomo Donna ultimate tournament. Our team consisted of me, Rod Klein, Larry Kepley, Scott Simpson, Chip Bean, Ramon Sarason, Ele Rad, Diana Pinkston, and Karen Silbernagel. Paul Rudolph was also supposed to show up, but he never found the fields and returned to Phoenix, where he drove down from. We beat Las Cruces 13-2, lost to Tucson A 13-8, beat Phoenix B 13-6, and lost to Phoenix A 13-11. We had pizza for dinner and i hung out with Jennifer Morrow at the party. Larry, Rod, and i drove out into the foothills and camped out in the desert. |
Rod, Larry, and i ate at the Cajun Kitchen restaurant for breakfast. We played Tucson B in the quarters and beat them 13-3, then lost to Tucson A 15-11 in the semis. I rode home with Dan Kahn partway, then back into Larry's car, then did the last stretch up I-25 driving Diana's car with Ramon and Ele in the back, while Diana rode with Dan. At one point Ramon asked where the other 2 cars were and i said that they were a mile or two ahead of us. "Can we catch up?" asked Ramon. I looked down and the speedometer. 90. "Sure" i said, and i nudged it up to 95. We caught up with the other two cars just north of Socorro. Got home at about 1:30 AM. |
Got up at 7:30, went to work at Subia but ran out of work to do at about 3:00 so i came home and vegged. I watched "Broadcast News" on TV. |

Worked at Subia and missed 17 Reasons Why's performance at the UNM Fiestas. I went to the UNM juggling club meeting that evening, then hung out at Dan Kahn and Anastasia Ott's house with them and Diana, Ramon, Ele, and a friend of Dan's until midnight. |
Planted stuff in the garden, then played ultimate and guts all day alongside the UNM Fiestas at Johnson Field. That evening i watched "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" on TV. |
Bought some computer diskettes, then wandered around Cost Plus looking at stuff that i couldn't really afford to splurge on. Played ultimate while Joe King Carrasco played at Fiestas. |
Worked at Subia running the imagesetting machines. |
My van died on the way to work, so i parked it in a corporate parking lot near where it stopped and rode my unicycle the rest of the way. I went back to get it at lunch. I spent the day at Subia doing AgfaProofs. |
No Subia work, so i worked on my Mac for a while, then rode my bike down to the museum. On my way home i stopped in at Two Wheel Drive (bike store) and left my bike there to get a new hub installed on the back wheel. |
No work. I picked up Charlie at 4:00 and took him to ultimate practice with me, then took him back home, babysat, then put him to bed. |
