Phoenix (Tempe) New Years Fest Ultimate Tournament: Played L.A, lost. Played Lippy's All Stars, lost. Played Burbank, won 13-11. Played Phoenix II, won. Played Austin, lost. Had Spaghetti at The Spaghetti Factory for dinner.

C Pool: Beat Beach Cities (CA) in the quarters. Beat Santa Fe in the semis. Beat Tucson in the final. Drove home. Got home at 3:30 AM.

Got up at 7:30. The Oldsmobile commercial shoot that was scheduled for today was cancelled. Worked until midnight on Space Pirates stuff.

Slept late. Worked all afternoon at a PNM power plant just off of Paseo del Norte putting up Space Pirates graphics for the video shoot. Found out that Tricia was leaving ABQ.

Didn't do much.

Woke up feeling sick. 17 Reasons Why recorded their demo tape in our house. Tricia came over after dinner.

Sick.

Even though i was still feeling sick, i went out to help out on the Oldsmobile Achieva commercial shoot. I really wasn't needed there and felt like i didn't do anything and kinda felt guilty for getting paid for it. I don't think that the director was pleased with my lack of having anything to do either.

Didn't do much. Watched Magic Johnson at the NBA All-star game. Nanci Griffith played Albuquerque that night but i didn't go.

Worked at the NM Museum of Natural History.

Worked at the museum for a bit, then did some Space Pirates graphics. Had dinner at Caroline's (her birthday).

Printed out Space Pirates graphics at the museum, then swung by ultimate practice for a bit.

Went to ultimate practice, babysat Charlie until midnight.

Slept in. Worked at the museum.

Slept in again. Van stalled (vapor lock) by Brooks Photo. I hung out there for a bit until it started again, then went to work at the museum. Came home to find that i had a letter from Don!

Worked at the museum all day.

Rode my bike down to the museum to work. Played some 2-on-2 box ultimate that afternoon.

Went shopping. Stopped by Caroline's. Left for Austin with Larry Kepley and Elliot in Larry's Subaru. Got in at about 3:00 AM.

Austin Centex Ultimate Tournament: Played Houston II, won 13-2. Played U.T., won 13-4. Played Austin Snakes, lost 13-10. Played Kansas Horrorzontals, won 13-1. Played Trinity, won 13-3. Went to the party and hung out.

Beat Dallas in the quarterfinals 15-13. Lost to Houston in the semis 17-15. we almost hit a mountain lion an hour or two out of Austin on the way home. When i was driving i very nearly fell asleep at the wheel outside of Fort Sumner, but managed to stay awake for the last 7 miles into town where we stopped to get gas and switch drivers. We got back to Albuquerque at 6:30 AM.

Slept until 1:00. Worked on my Mac.

Worked on my computer for a while, then went down to the museum, but didn't do much. Watched the Grammy Awards on TV that night (must've been bored).

Biked down to the museum to work.

Beautiful day. Played ultimate. Did some crossword puzzles. Called Lucas.
