Saturday. Rode Larry's new 1970 BMW 650R motorcycle around the neighborhood. Ed, one of the sales guys from work, called me up and i had to go in to work from 4:00 to 8:00.

I wrote this in an email to Lesley Howard on November 14: "I suppose i'm happy, but i don't really know for sure because i've been doing nothing but working. But being the greedy capitalist pig that i am, money makes me pleased. I can buy toys!!"

Played ultimate. Went to Natural Sound and bought 2 CDs: Stevie Vaughan & Double Trouble - In The Beginning, and Suzanne Vega - 99.9F°.

Worked at Subia for a few hours in the morning. Played ultimate in the snow - 4 or 5 inches - lotsa fun.

Jonathan Campbell came to stay for a few days while he looked for jobs. We drove around Albuquerque looking at different neighborhoods (and some architecture), then had dinner at Los Cuates with Deb.

Monday. Worked. Had Spaghetti for dinner. Got a head cold which lasted until Friday.

Worked from 6:45 AM to 4:30. Jonathan took me out to dinner at El Patio.

Worked. Jonathan stopped by before leaving town. he left us a big bag of bagels.

Did nothing until 4:00, then went over to Caroline & Bill's for Thanksgiving dinner.

Went down to the museum and cleaned up and worked a bit.

Worked at the museum again. Since i had had a full-time job for a few months, i decided that it was time to get rid of my damn van-from-hell and buy a newer car. I had decided to buy a small pickup truck so that i could put a cap on it and sleep in the back. I wanted either a long bed or an extra cab. i had been looking at for sale ads and today met a guy out by San Mateo & I-25 to test drive a Mazda pickup truck. It was OK...

Went skiing at Taos with Bill Eisenhood, Tom Joles, and a couple other KOB people. We got pulled over for speeding in Española and when the cop saw who it was he just laughed and let us all go. The advantages of travelling with local celebrities. Snowed all day-- great skiing!

Worked. Got a letter from Don telling me that he proposed to his girlfriend Robyn. Found out that my grandmother "Nanny" died, 3 days shy of her 100th birthday.
