Baumunk Reunion at Camp Maple Lake in Estella, PA. I was surprised to find that there were two huge playing fields at the camp. I won one of the door prizes—a big jar of jelly beans. While a lot of other people were having a vespers service around a campfire, i headed back to Shunk, stopping at the Ladd's house where i hung out with Kiddy for a while.

Kiddy came over and we took a walk around the lake, then i packed up and drove back to Vermont.

Disc golf league night. Shot a +2 and kept the #4 tag. Also, John found my Wildcat disc that i'd lost in the rocks along hole 15 in June.

Evening Song Farm.

Seera wasn't feeling well. Her head was tilted over and she was having trouble standing up. She stayed downstairs when i went up to bed.

Seera was in the same place the next morning. But she perked up a little when we went over to the farm.

Seera and i walked down to the AT/LT from the end of Wallingford Pond road. She did OK. Later that day i went to Rutland and picked up a trailer from U-Haul.

After work i drove with the trailer down to G&R Autoworks in Keene, NH. They are the new home of Sportscar Services and they'd picked up my Mini while i was in PA. The opening on the trailer was 57" wide. A classic Mini is 55.5" wide. George from Sprtscar Services drove the Mini onto the trailer, with 4 others guiding it in. The door handles cleared by about a quarter inch. I strapped it down and drove it home, stopping at The Vermont Country Store for chocolate.

I got home a little before 7:00 and knew that i wasn't going to get the trailer back to Rutland before they closed (at 7:00). There was a message from my brother Jason on my answering machine and he was driving through Vermont. I called him back and left a message and he soon called me back from Woodstock, VT. We agreed to meet at the vermont Tap House in Rutland in half an hour. I immediately called U-Haul (it was 6:59) and found out that i could just drop off the trailer and put the paperwork in a slot, so i quickly unstrapped the Mini, pushed it carefully out of the trailer, parked it in the garage, and drove to Rutland. I dropped off the trailer, drove up to the Vermont Tap House, and just as i was getting out of my car, Jason drove in.

Disc golf league night. Shot a -4 (five birdies on the front 9 (1, 4, 6, 8, 9), two bogeys (14, 18) and one birdie (16) on the back nine) and got the #1 tag! I think that's my personal course best.

Seera was still not feeling well.

And still.

She didn't want to come inside that night.

I thought that i had a doctor's appointment in Rutland in the morning but arrived to discover that i was a month off, it was scheduled for September. I had brought Seera with me and took her to the vet. When she got weighed, we discovered that she'd lost 10 pounds, so the vet wanted to keep her and put her on an IV. I left her there and went to work.

Picked up Seera after work. Her head was still tilted, but she looked a little better and started to eat again. I had to switch her to canned dog food since she wasn't eating her dry food.

Disc golf league night. Shot a par and LOST MY FAVORITE DISC AGAIN!!! Steve Kelly shot a -2 and took the #1 tag, and i settled for #2. But then i handily won the closest to the pin, setting my disc down just under the basket, and got a wad of cash.

I finished making the plaque for the Battle for Route 100 disc golf tournament that weekend.

After work i drove over to where i'd lost my Discraft Wildcat on the disc golf course and found it within 3 minutes of looking. I went to the farm after that and watched as the preparations for Kara and Ryan's wedding were taking place.

That evening, some of us got together to shoot a short round of disc golf in preparation for the tournament. We decided to play with one mulligan per hole and i used one only once, on hole 9, sinking the birdie on my second try. But before that i was on fire, hitting my second ever ace on hole 1 (with my favorite Discraft Wildcat that i'd just found) and birdying 2, 4, 6, 7, 8, and 9 for a -8 on the front nine. I just wish that playing had held into the next day.

Got up and met up with folks at Jackson Gore, then rode with Steve Kelly up to the BCO disc golf course. It was a doubles tournament and my partner was my friend Lizzie. I shot horribly and we ended up with a +5 for the BCO course. The Maples team had pizza for lunch then drove back down to Jackson Gore. Lizzie and i shot better on the Maples Course, ending up with a -2 or -3, i can't remember. As soon as i finished hole 18, i headed home, changed, and Seera and i drove over to the farm for Kara and Ryan's wedding.

I described the wedding as "the Earlhamest wedding i've ever been to." It was nice and relaxing though. I took some pics and hung out with Josh and Meadow. Seera mostly stayed out of trouble. I was exhausted so bailed out soon after dinner. The party lasted nearly all night.
