Disc golf league night. I shot a +1. Started out by birdying the first 3 holes. No tag though, because i didn't have my pass yet. I did win the closest to the pin money though!

Work, farm, then drove the Mini down to Concord for the class of '85 reunion. I was roomed in Tucker House in the room that Sung and Carl were in when Scott and i were in the front room. Paul Santomenna was staying in that room.

Mingled with other 85ers until past dinner, then walked around the campus taking night pictures.

Spent the morning wandering around campus, then lunched with some class of '80 (and one '81) people. In the afternoon i skateboarded out to to Moriarty Athletic Complex and just relaxed on the clubhouse deck for a while.

Sat next to Tom First (co-founder of Nantucket Nectars) and his wife at dinner.

Liesurely breakfast, then packed up and drove south down route 126, stopping at Weir Meadow along the way. I drove into Patrick's driveway to find him preparing to go out on a scooter ride. We took a quick trip over to the gas station, then i followed him to a friends house where the other scooterists were. I tagged along behind the 4 vintage scooters to Lookout Farm where we enjoyed some meat, cheese, and flatbread pizza. The other guys also sampled the Lookout Farm Ciders.

My preferred mode of transportation around the CA campus is the skateboard that i bought from Jeff Moss while i was there. The above pic is where it happened to stop when i hopped off to go into the chapel.

Disc golf league night. I walked around the Segway trails with my GPS before the round. I shot a +3 and got the #5 tag. Missed the Closest to The Pin by about 8 inches.

On May 18th (i think), i walked with Seera through one of the fields near our house. The next day, i couldn't find my cap anywhere and i thought that i'd just misplaced it. It wasn't until a few days later that the thought occured to me that it had fallen off when i took my sweatshirt off while walking at the field. Today i finally went back to that same field. I looked for my cap when i got out of the truck, but didn't see it anywhere. Just before getting back into the truck after the walk, i suddenly decided to try one more time and walked ten feet further to find my cap, nestled in the tall grass. Almost a month of sitting there!

(And then i left the same hat at pickup ultimate in El Paso a year and a half later.)

Disc golf league night. Walked the Segway trails again with a more accurate GPS setting, then took some pics around the Adventure Zone. I shot a +1 and got the #4 tag. Super-close CTP contest, which i was once again 2nd furthest out.

Work, farm, then a drive down to Boxborough, MA to a hotel where i was joined by Shiellah, Lindsey, and Jacob, fellow observers.

Boston Invite ultimate tournament. I observed two games but was kept busy between rounds re-aligning and lining fields, since no one had set up any of the fields for the tournament. Lindsey, Shiellah, and i went to a little burrito place down the road from the hotel and watched some of the Women's World Cup on their TV.

Boston Invite ultimate tournament day 2. It was POURING rain as i drove to the fields but it lightened up to a steady drizzly rain for most of the day. Jonathan and i observed a lower-tier game first thing since we wanted to give the Boston U19 team some observing experience. The soft-cap went on at 13-13 and i announced to the team that the game was now hard to 15. After each team scored, i confirmed to the Sherbrooke team that it was 14-14. The U19 team then scored to win the game, at which point Sherbrooke claimed that it was now only 14-14. I told them that the game was over and left to get to my next game. Later i heard that the Sherbrooke captain complained to the Tournament Director about the game. Geez.

The rain broke and the sun came out by about halfway through the surprisingly dull final between Garuda and Phoenix. I headed west on back roads and eventually joined in to Route 119 and continued on home. Kara and Ryan had picked up Seera on Saturday morning and had her at the farm overnight, then delivered her back to my house on Sunday so that she was there when i got home.

Disc golf. Only 4 of us there, so we didn't play for tags. I shot a +7 (ugh), but i did win the CTP.

Took some pics around the Adventure Zone in the morning when i was over there measuring a ticket booth for signs. Okemo posted some of them on their Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages, WITH credit!

Disc golf league night. I shot a -1 (-3 on the front 9, 2 bogeys on the back 9) and kept the #4 tag. I was yet again 2nd furthest out on the CTP.

Okemo employee party day. I worked until about 9:30, then went over to Resort Services and asked if i could tag along on a zipline tour. It had been yucky and rainy only an hour before, but when we got out there, it was gorgeous and sunny. I took a whole lotta pics and enjoyed being out on the lines again. On zip 7, i went first and yelled at some disc golf players who had just teed off on hole 2. One of them realized that it was me and grabbed a disc, tossing it up to me. I got my hand on it but couldn't quite hold on, but it was still pretty cool.

After the zip, i kept my harness on and climbed around the challenge course taking pictures, then finally de-geared and had some barbeque lunch. After lunch i went back to the signshop and unloaded all the pics i took, then went home, over to the farm, and finally back to Okemo at 6:00 to shoot a half-round of disc golf with Nuge. We were tied going in to 18 (we played 1-9, then 17 and 18) at -1, but i parred it and Nuge bogeyed.
