I drove up to the Flynn Center in Burlington to see Los Lobos, having shamefully never seen them live before. I found my seat (2nd row - loners get good seats) and in about 10 minutes someone came on stage with announcements and then, "ladies and gentlemen, Los Lobos!" and they ambled out on stage. It was an interesting setup as it seemed that only David (guitar) and Conrad (bass) had amps. Cesar and Louie's guitars looked like they were plugged directly into the mains, which gave the whole thing an semi-acoustic vibe.

There was a long line of people waiting to see the band in the lobby after the show, but i didn't stick around. I thought i'd be tired making the 2-hour drive home, but i was pretty awake, probably pumped up from the show.

Morning at Jackson Gore. I left work that afternoon, picked up Seera, and drove down to Shunk.

Fall at the lake.

Walked with Seera out to the Eby's and back while the water was draining out of the house. Closed everything up, shut everything off, and drove back to Vermont. Shot a picture of the moon over Tomhannock Reservoir in New York.

The Signshop crew drove up to the summit and i took some pictures while up there. I sent the picture of the mower to the marketing department and they posted it on their Facebook page, but didn't give me any credit for it.

Disc golf league night. Got three birdies in a row (4 through 6) plus birdied 9, but bogeyed 2 and 8, so came into the back 9 with a -2. Then picked up 2 more bogeys and a double-bogey on 15, so ended with a +2 and got the #4 tag.

The lunar eclipse was obscured by clouds this morning.

Disc golf league night. Came in to 18 with a par and double-bogeyed, putting me in a 4-way tie at +2, but i came in with the low tag so left with the #4 tag again.

I stopped and took some pictures of the moon over Jackson Gore when i got to work in the morning. Sent one to the marketing department and they posted it on their Facebook page, but didn't give me any credit for it again.

Took a hike north on the AT/LT from the parking lot on Rt. 103.

I went to work, then, on an excuse to go put up a sign in the Jackson Gore Inn, i took advantage of the last ziplining day of the season and went on the morning check-out run with Sarah and Tim. Just as Sarah and i were ducking into the woods below tower 4, i looked up and there, hanging in a tree at eye-level, about 18 inches from my face, was Teco's leash that i'd lost while playing disc golf in the spring. I almost couldn't talk for a minute, it was so happy/sad finding it there.

There was frost all over the tower 6 platform, which made for a slick landing, and it was like a snow-cone machine with the ice coming off zip 6 as Tim zipped down it. I took a lot of pics and sent one of the fog in the valley to the marketing department. They posted it once again on Facebook and once again gave me no credit.

When i got out to disc golf league night, there was nobody there, as they'd all started playing already, but there was a group of zipline guides and Adventure Zone workers all taking a last zip. After they'd all got in to tower 8, they all slid back out to the brake block and yelled at me to get up on the air bag tower to take a picture, which i did. Looked like fun. After that, i caught up with the disc golfers on hole 5, shot a +2 on the course, and kept the #4 tag.

Disc golf league night. Shot a +4 and got the #7 tag.

Took the dogs over to the farm to get my veggies.

The Route 100 Disc golf Tournament. Shot a +4 at The Maples and a +5 at BCO (first time ever on the course). Didn't help our cause at all but the Maples team won it.
