Scratch scratch scratch...

Took Seera for a walk down the AT/LT across the Clarendon Gorge. Crunchy frozen snow underfoot, still past kneedeep off the path. Saw an otter in the Mill River below the bridge!

Did somebody order more snow?

I had to pick up Charlie and Liz at the rain station at 11:30, so i drove into Rutland early, went grocery shopping, then went to see The Lego Movie. When i got out, as i was walking across the parking lot to my car, i heard the train horn as it was approaching Rutland.

I dropped Charlie and Liz off to rent their gear, then i met up with Charlie and we skied a bit while Liz was taking a lesson. I stopped at about 11:00 and went in to the signshop to work. Okemo was putting on a concert that night, so we all came in to work in case they needed last minute signs, banners, tickets, whatever. Turns out that there wasn't much to do, but i stayed there until Liz and Charlie were done skiing and picked them up. We all took a ride or two on the Timber Ripper mountain coaster and then decided to head back to my house and make dinner with the intention of coming back to see the headlining act, Matisyahu. But inertia got the best of us and we didn't go back, even though we had VIP passes to the show.

We dropped Liz off for her third lesson and Charlie and i dawdled our way onto the slopes by mid-morning (it was cold). We skied a bit, then picked up Liz from her lesson, had lunch, and spent another couple hours heading up to the top of the mountain a few times. Wrapped up, dropped off the rentals, and i drove them back to the train station.

Today's HIGH temperature was 17. The high temperature in March should NOT equal the date.

Sarah's dog Sasha came to visit the signshop today.
