Drove over to Fort Ann, NY for the Mid-Atlantic DIII College Regionals. Linda, Sandra, and i switched on and off, two of us per game, subbing out at halftime. We did a couple of women’s games and one or two men’s games. Saw a few people that i knew spectating. |

This picture of the road had a very flat feel to it as it ws a dreary drizzly day so i thought that it would look good as a black & white. |
I picked up Lucy in Ludlow and we went out for a paddle on Echo Lake. It was really windy, so navigating was a bit of a chore, but it was nice to get out on the water. |
Hiked up to Wallingford Pond. |
Met Kim at the Healdville Trail and hiked all the way up to the Okemo Fire Tower. Oddly enough, i didn’t take any pictures while i was up there. Cloudy weather. |
Drove down to Amherst, MA for the New England DI College Regionals. I had about a quarter-tank of gas when i passed through Brattleboro and i figured i’d get gas in the next town south but there are NO gas stations along that route! I finally hunted for the nearest station on my GPS and it took me to a garage that wasn’t open and didn’t sell gas. Second attempt took me to a Cumberland Farms which also didn’t sell gas. I ran on fumes into Amherst and filled up in town. Dylan and i observed the Tufts/Northeastern semifinal, the Brown/Vermont final, and Vermont/Northeastern in the game to go. It was pretty cool to see Vermont make it to Nationals. |
Third day in a row of activity—i drove up to Warren to play ultimate. I left there after the game with a low gas tank and ALL of the gas stations down route 100 close at 8:00, so i willed the car into Killington only to find that there were no stations open there either. White knuckle hope pushed the Mini up Sherburne Pass and when i crested the summit, i shut the car off and began the long coast downhill. I started it up a couple of times to build up speed along the flatter areas, then ran out of gas just past Mendon and coasted the remainder of the hill to an open gas station on the outskirts of Rutland. I startled the guy filling his tank there because i rolled in so silently and it turned out to be a guy that plays pickup ultimate in Rutland occasionally. |
I went over to Mill River Union Highschool to take pictures of their ultimate game against Long Trail. |
Drove down to Shunk. |

I went out in the evening to see if i could see the lunar eclipse. The moon was visible early, but then when i went out later at the correct time, there was a solid band of clouds covering the moon, even though there was a clear star-speckled sky overhead. |
There’s a bird on that dock. |
Always try to catch Bulo in flight. |
It looks like Bulo is in shallow water but he’s actually standing on a barely-submerged log in the middle of the lake. |
|
Walked around the old lumber mill.

Drove home. On arrival i discovered that the package of custom books had been left by UPS not by the side door as i’d requested but right next to the gate and it had been rained on numerous times. |

The next-door neighbor’s dog Willow likes to come over and play. |

Somone’s dismantling the abandoned house on Blackwood Road. |

Hiked along the Clarendon Gorge before taking Bulo to the vet for some shots. He does not like going there. |
