All-day group lesson, three upper level kids.

All-day group lesson, same three kids. Bill’s dog Sage hangs out in the Wernick House.

All-day group lesson with one level-4 kid from Peru. It started with two kids, but one really needed to be down on the bunny hill.

Started the day with Andrew and me taking two kids whom we thought were different levels, but they could ride together pretty well, so Andrew took them and Austin and i taught a level-1 adult lesson with ten students. Only three of them came back for the afternoon, so it wasn't too bad.

I don't really like these shoes, but i like this picture.

Morning private with two college girls—mostly on the magic carpet, a couple of chairlift rides. Afternoon private with a woman who needed to improve her turns.

My friend Palmer's house in the late afternoon, and mine in the evening.

All-day kids group with a low-level-4 and a high-level-4. Cold. Stopped at Solitude on the way in to work because of the brilliant sunrise happening.

All-day kids group with one of the same kids from the day before (all day) and one morning kid. Freezing rain.

Nina and Isaiah arrived for some skiing.

All-day adult group with one man who was really on his back foot.

Morning adult group with two level 4ish men. Nothing in the afternoon. Below zero temps (F°). Bulo, Nina, Isaiah, and i braved the cold and went for a walk in the woods in the afternoon (they'd stayed home today).

Farm.

I think i'd gone outside to dump the compost and Bulo was watching me from the window. Funky reflections as i shot pics of him from outside.

All-day group kids lesson, black level, one kid. Mother was kinda shocked when i told her that i didn't have a phone. I felt bad about lying, but i do not give out my phone number. Did some food-serving at lunch time.

All-day group kids lesson, blue level, one kid. Freezing cold temps and high winds. We got into a routine of stopping in the Sugar House, hiking up to the Black Ridge chair, taking one lap, then back to the Sugar House.

All-day group kids lesson, black level. One of the kids i had on Friday, the other kid i'd had before. Brilliant sun.

All-day group kids lesson, red level. Two half-day kids and two full-day, but one of the full-day kids had an injured toe, so dropped out, leaving me with one 10-year-old girl in the afternoon and we were able to take a couple runs up the A/B quads.

The starkness of this picture wows me. It's of a field up above East Wallingford with the gray late-afternoon sky behind it. I shot it from the road, zoomed in so that there were no trees visible.

Morning lesson with one green/blue level adult. Nothing in the afternoon.

When i decide to turn around while walking Bulo, he tears back past me at full speed, since he's always out ahead of me. I'd been trying to capture him as he speeds past, holding the camera at knee-level and swinging it around as he passes. I'd made a few attempts, but i keep hitting the shutter too early. This one's as blurry as the others, but it's got a coolness to it.

Late game at winter league ultimate. Close in the first half, but we won pretty handily, 34-17. I did nothing spectacular, got scored on a couple times.

Farm.

First "milk run" of the season in the bitter cold. The GoPro refused to work but the Pentax still functioned.

All day kid group. Jean-Yves had four green-level kids and i had one blue-level, but after a check-out run, we discovered that it was actually three greens and two yellows, so i took the greens.

Stopped on Route 103 to catch the morning clouds over the hill.

Supposed to run a training clinic today, but we had an upper-level lesson—one AM kid and one all-day.

I caught a glimpse of my reflection in the window of my truck as i was getting out in the Loft Lot and snapped a picture from chest-height.

Scheduled to have an all-day private, but they didn't show, so i started with a first-time adult. The lesson that Jean Yves was supposed to have cancelled, so he took over my lesson while i still waited for the private. Finally found out that they cancelled, so i picked up a yellow-level kid for the day.

Bulo had just jumped in the truck, back out, then back in again when i snapped this pic. The second pic is the parking lot of the Shelburne Fieldhouse.

Another late game at ultimate. Semifinals against Pink. We rolled from the get-go and beat them 40-20. I got a block (poach interception) but also threw away a long pass to Emily in the end zone—just a little out of reach.

Another attempt at catching Bulo's fly-by. This time i tried a super-fast shutter speed and multiple exposure, but i was still ahead of him as i swung the camera around.

Only low-level kids groups, so i went over to adults and had a green/blue level woman in the morning, and three yellow-level people in the afternoon. Crowded.

Another milk run, but because there were snowcats still on the hill, it was just on the base quads.

Two friends who were in the green/blue range, all day. But it was cold and the wind got really blustery in the afternoon, so they called it quits at about 1:30.

Took a run in the morning after a 20-minute late start on the Sunburst Six lift, then totally tweaked my lower back while helping to put a lesson ticket on a kid's jacket. Backlined, and once all the lessons were covered, went home.

All-day kids lesson, one level-5 kid who turned out to be more of a level-4. I picked up one of the kids from the yellow group and we made one trip up to the top of the mountain.
