These are the only two pictures i took today. |
One girl in an all-day kids lesson. Most of the day was on the carpet—took a couple runs under the A/B Quads at the end of the day. |
All-day private with six kids, ages 10, 9, 9, 7, 6, 5. Slow going, lots of breaks, but they all decided to be goofy-footed and the 5-year-old lasted the whole day! |
Same girl as Friday, lots of loops on the A Quad. |
Same girl again. Turned 57. Started feeling sick. |
Called in sick. Spent the day inside building a Porsche 911 Lego kit. |
I keep trying to get a picture of Bulo jumping a creek. |
Morning level-4 adult lesson with one woman, then i was about to leave from afternoon lineup when three people came up asking for a lesson. They'd been trying it on their own so it was a slightly-above-level-1 lesson. I made a pear pie. |
All-day kids lesson (in pouring rain) with two level-3 kids. One of them left after we took a break in the late morning, so the rest of the day was just one. |
All-day level-4 kid. Took a few laps up to the top of the mountain, even though it was getting pretty scraped off. |
All-day level-1 kid who was barelyseven. Gotta credit him though, his enthusiasm stayed high all day even if his body skills were terrible. |
All-day mini-star kid—4 years old! Lots of fun breaks, but he lasted all day. which was pretty impressive. Even managed to make a few heel stops. |

All-day level 4/5 kids lesson with one kid who i'd had a few times last year. |
Morning private with a mom and a teen who could ride the lift, but were very nervous and careful. Afternoon private with two parents and a ten-year-old. The dad lasted about twenty minutes. Mom lasted about an hour and a half. Daughter made it to the end. |
Started the day riding with Zoe, Kaylie's daughter, then she joined Eliza's group for the afternoon and i picked up a level-2 group of three adults. |
No kids snowboard lessons today. I taught an adult level-1 group of five family members in the morning, then a two-person level-2 private in the afternoon. |
Full-day kids lesson. I think just one kid but i don't remember what level. |

Upper-level all-day kids lesson with two kids. Pretty miserable freezing-rainy day.
(No one ever answered this.) |
One of the same kids from yesterday, but she got a blister on her heel and bailed out at about noon, so i was able to go home early. It was freezing rainy. |
Morning private with one adult—green/blue level. Afternoon private with... |
My morning private showed up as a family of four skiers, so i went inside to help with packets, then got called out to take the blue-level kids class. One kid was a morning-only, but i still had an afternoon private so i took the remaining two to lunch and handed them off to Eliza and Bill. Afternoon private was with a mom and two kids at three different levels. We took a few runs on the magic carpet, then left mom on her own and i took the two kids up the lift. |
Morning private with the same woman from two days earlier. Afternoon private with six people (with three extra dads helping out), ages 30ish, teenager, 9, 8, 6, and 4. Plus, two of them could turn, two were heel-sliders, two had never done it before. Ugh. |
Morning private with a very short 11-year-old who people kept mistaking for a much younger child. Afternoon with the same group from the day before. |
Day off. |
Morning private with the same short kid. Afternoon group lesson of four yellow-level adults. |
