Bulo and The Muppet Show.

All-day kids lesson with one kid. Kinda cold and windy.
All-day black-level lesson of one kid. I convinced him to climb the fire tower. Stefan had the blue group of two kids, who i took over in the afternoon as he got booked with a private.
Morning private with a 10-year-old who wanted to ride in the park. Afternoon private with a kid who needed work on his toe turns.
My toe has been really hurting and i wasn't going to go to work today, but i had a six-hour private on me. I waited around for an hour before we discovered that the lesson had been cancelled. We were fairly short-staffed, so i ran the carpet lifts in the Snow Stars area in the morning, then for another half hour in the afternoon before i was cut loose.

All-day kids lesson, yellow level. Three kids who didn't want to really listen in the morning and one kid who i wore out in the afternoon.
Full-day kids lesson with one blue/black-level kid. It was cold and wintery, with on-and-off snow flurries, and the runs got really choppy as the day went on.
Morning lesson with one adult, high green/low blue level.
No lessons. I was backlined due to my sore toe. Went home after 10 o'clock line-up

Green/blue-level kids lesson with a brother and sister who could make connected turns but had trouble with basic traverses.
Black-level kids lesson. One kid.
Black-level kids lesson. One kid who was more of a blue.

For a change of pace, i had one first-timer kid. It was really hot out.

Day one of my Freestyle Specialist 1 exam at Mount Snow. It was hot and slushy. I was the only goofy-footed rider in the group of six so i went undercover as a regular-footer, riding switch for every task. My teaching segment today was on shifties, which i think i did pretty well on.
Day two of my FS-1 exam. On and off rain with thunder rumbling. The lifts didn't open until about 11:00 so we spent the whole morning in a little low-level terrain park at the Carinthia Base which we hiked up after every short run. My teaching segment today was dropping into a halfpipe, which i think i did a pretty decent job on, given the terrain i had to work with (three small jumps and a spine). I passed and got my first new certification in 21 years, but was a little bummed that my grades were all B's and C's. I expected the low scores on riding (especially since i was riding switch) but i thought my teaching segments were better than were graded.

All-day private with 3 sisters—7 to 11 years old. The oldest hurt her shoulder in the super mash-potatoey snow in the afternoon and had to take a sled ride down with ski patrol. The other two were losing steam at that point so i showed them how to penguin slide and that made the afternoon.
Went out with George, Austin, and Stefan for an end-of-season trainers session. It started raining steadily about 11:30 and we wrapped it up and were all let go for the afternoon.
Taught a morning adult group of two first-timers. Very slushy and windy. In the afternoon i went to Rutland to a podiatrist who cut out my ingrown toenail again.
With my toe all bandaged up, my season is over. I went in to work to empty all of my gear out of the locker room, then i hung around the base area for a bit, taking some video and talking with people.
