Went out and shot more disc golf pics. With a tripod this time.

It's very hard to get Seera to sit and look at a camera for longer than about a quarter-second.

...Unless she's crossing Coleman Brook while i'm playing a round of disc golf.

I was originally going to take the day off, but i had one quick project to do in the morning. I took the bus in, intending to pick up my Mini after i was done working, but it wasn't ready, so Tim gave me a ride home.

Dropped Seera off at the farm and then drove down to Concord Academy for my highschool reunion. Skateboarded around the campus for a bit, then found Don and we hung out for the afternoon, running into Will Dewey in downtown Concord. Good dinner and hanging out with classmates, then off to bed in Bradford House 1st floor. All of Bradford House was class of '83.

Lazy day of hanging with classmates. Went to a talk on writing and publishing which featured my classmate Tilia as one of the 4 panelists. After that Don and i went over to the new athletic facility (stunningly awesome) and threw a lacrosse ball around and played a bit of super-lame ultimate. After that a bunch of us rented canoes (Don and i, Ed and Pam, Katrina and her fiancee, and Grattan and Tony). and navigated up the Sudbury under some VERY low bridges as the water was so high.

A delicious dinner followed that and afterwards (for the first time in 4 reunions) we did NOT win the party as we all went over to Jonathan and Thea's house in Concord for an after-party.

A relaxed breakfast and eventually people left. I drove down to visit my friend Pat in Norfolk, MA (passing Tony on his bike on route 126 in the middle of Wayland) and we went out for some subs, eating them in a state park near his house. Finally the drive back home.

I took the day off, slept late, then drove over to the farm to pick up Seera. She was very happy.

Picked up my Mini, drove it to disc golf (moved up from the #6 tag to #5), and noticed that it was running hot.

Got my camera back from being repaired again. Hadda pick it up from UPS before ultimate.

Tim had the day off (he'd been off since Wednesday to prepare for his daughter's wedding) and i worked in the morning, then we had the Okemo summer employee picnic. I was at Resort Services hanging a sign and found outy that there was a zipline tour going out at 11:30, so i went back to the signshop, changed, and tagged along on the tour, taking some pictures, a few of which came out pretty well. After that i had some great barbequed pork sandwiches, then headed home. I was planning on driving down to Juliet's that evening but ended up dropping the Mini back off at East Coast Restoration and by 5 o'clock i decided to drive down to Devens for the Boston Invite in the morning.

Got up early and drove down to Devens, leaving Seera alone. Only observed two games in the heat, but both of them involved the Colombian women's team, which was pleasant and distracting. I videotaped one game, the A1-A2 matchup of Dark or Light vs. Knights Watch, which Charlie graciously assembled for online viewing.

After the games, i went over to Juliet's and we went out for some good Chinese food, then hung out chatting.

Observed open quarters, semis, and the women's final. Headed home, stopping a couple times for chocolate milk, and once for soft-serve ice cream.

Had a par going into 18 at disc golf, then double-bogeyed 18. But still, i ended up with the #2 tag.

Took some pics of the brick school building where we play ultimate.

I'd been spending a lot of time coloring in the illustrations for my latest kid's book, and i needed some pictures of sky to drop into backgrounds. I went up to the "top of the world" field and was lucky enough to get a really vivid bright rainbow.

Walked Seera around the new Evening Song Farm, up on Shunpike Road.
