Went out to teach snowboarding, but there were no lessons.

Went out to teach again, but again, no lessons. When i got home i took Seera over to Evening Song Farm and Ryan let Echo and Calley out for a romp.

Winter League Ultimate: We lost to Purple 35-27. We only had 8 guys and 3 women, so we were basically outrun.

Caroline and Keith dropped off Daniel for the weekend and we went to Okemo where Daniel rented a snowboard and started a snowboard lesson. I showed up about a half-hour later once i got all my gear on and stole him from the lesson, teaching him myself for the rest of the day. He had some spills, but was getting the hang of it. After riding all day, we took Seera over to the farm.

Day 2 of learning to snowboard. Daniel had a butt-cracking fall early on and we had to be careful that he didn't hit it again. After a good lunch at Smokey Jo's, we took a couple more runs and called it a day. I drove Daniel back down to Newfane, after stopping along the way to walk Seera for a while. While we were out on the forest road, i discovered that my camera had stopped working.

Big snowstorm most of the day and into the night. Not a ton of accumulation, but treacherous roads, so Winter League Ultimate was cancelled.

Winter League Ultimate: We beat Red 32-29. I think that we trailed for most of the game and went ahead in the final minutes.

I got called to run a zip tour in the afternoon and because Jack, the other guide, was coming off of a broken collarbone, i had to be the lead guide. No problem, until i had to do my first retrieval on line 5. I went out without the tow rope, thinking that i could hook him up and haul him in, but i couldn't, and then one little thing led to another and i ended up being stuck out on the line for about 20 minutes until John Conway and Barry Tucker showed up on snowmobiles and pulled us both back up to the platform.

I felt very unprofessional and i'm still kicking myself for the things i did wrong. After that i had to do 3 more retrievals, all of which ended up just fine, but i still felt stupid.

Had to have a meeting with Shannon, Lizzy, Ally, Jack, John, and Dave Thompson about what had happened on the zipline the day before. Not fun, but basically, i needed to have some refresher training. I was scheduled to go out the next two days and do that, but then i got sick and slept for about 4 days straight.
