Drove down to Shunk.

Bulo likes to be at the most forward point of any boat.

Built a little patio.

Sistered on a new support beam on this bridge. Also put some fill in at the top of the lake to access the beaver dam.

Drove back to Vermont.

Took a walk around Jackson Gore and up to Tower 2 on the zipline. Bulo found a porcupine and while i was removing quills, i didn't realize that he slipped out of his collar. I only noticed it when we got back down by the bottom of the lift and hiked back up a little bit but couldn't find it.

Went back to Jackson Gore and hiked in a reverse route from the day before. His collar was right at the base of Tower 2.

Teco met cows for the first time. He didn't know what to make of them at first, barking at them, then he herded every single one up to the corner of the field while i yelled at him and chased him until i could catch him and put his collar on. I’ll have to be careful where the cows are from now on.

Went down to Magic Mountain to play in their disc golf league. I hadn't thrown a golf disc since the previous October. I shot a 65 (+7) which was okay.

I took Bulo to the vet today for his booster shots. The vet also managed to extract the last quill from his porcupine encounter the week before. That evening i brought him over to Nikki and Robbie's to meet their dog Baron. They were a little tentative at first but got to racing all around the yard. Bulo found refuge in the wading pool, which Baron wouldn't go into.

I decided to take Bulo up to the summit of Okemo and when i was driving up Mountain Road i saw that the lift was running. Turns out that Okemo opened for summer operations that day (lift and mountain coaster only) and i had not been informed. Hiring went to full-time salaried winter employees first, so i was not on that list. Bulo and i hiked to the fire tower, which he had no interest in, which surprised me. I thought that he'd follow me up but he was focused on squirrels and chipmunks down below.

Went to Magic Mountain disc golf again. Shot a 65 (+7) again.

Drove down to Shunk. Stopped at a kayak store outside of Oneonta and test-rode a hybrid canoe/kayak, which i ended up buying. Bulo wouldn't fit in the kayaks that we have, so i wanted something that he could ride in and that i'd have with me in Vermont.

Living in the barn this trip.
