Sunset over the lake. |
Drove down to Montoursville to see Star Wars Episode III and buy some bridge lumber. |

Built a new bridge to replace Paul's Bridge (a.k.a. Troll Bridge) From here until July 12, the original photos were lost. No idea what happened to them but it must have been a hard-drive failure and i never recovered these files. Aargh! |
Put a new deck on Bridge 1. |
Rainy day. Mommy and Daddy arrived today for a couple days. |
Hiked with my mom around the lake and through the clear-cut. Seera found a nice mud puddle to roll around in. Saw a bunch of bear-prints on the road. Annual meeting of Baumunk Lake Properties. In attendance were all four general partners (Ken and Joanne Ford, Lucy Baumunk, Ann Henderson) and one limited partner (me). |
A couple of deer across the lake. Mommy and Daddy left today and Jason and some of his friends arrived today for a long weekend. I got the newest (although a year old) Mission Of Burma CD today "On Off ON" from Amazon.com. Nice loud ride back to the early 80s. |
Daddy had a cold when he was up here and politely gave it to me before he left, so i spent the weekend mostly in bed while Jason and his friends were here. |
I got up to discover that the back tire on my truck was completely flat. I put on the spare and drove down to Canton where the offending bolt was removed from the tire. It went right through the steel belts, so i had to buy a new (well, used) tire. The above picture is of Teco running across the Troll Bridge. |

Mommy and Daddy arrived for the summer. I moved out to the barn. |

I turned two bowls today out of a chunk of douglas fir, but the first one got a little bit thin and exploded on the lathe as i was shaving off a little bump on the inside. Pretty cool. The second one turned out ok, but not great. I decided to check out Erin McKeown's website and was pleased to discover, since i hadn't been to the site in ages, that her new album was released today! |
