There was a helicopter flying over the house all day. Oil/gas companies doing seismic testing on our land.

Foggy morning as i drove away. I stopped by Emily's house in Honesdale and had lunch with her and Brian.
|
I was feeling listless in the evening so i took a walk around East Wallingford and took some pictures.

I went over to Katherine and Ian's place for a bonfire/party. Seera chased Katherine's cat Katniss into the woods but didn't catch her. There were 5 dogs there and they all seemed to get along fine.
|
I took the dogs over to Kara and Ryan's farm and they were there with some relatives hanging out in the stream (it was over 80 degrees that day). Seera was hanging out in the stream and Teco was poking around next to Ryan, who was standing on a rock about 5 or 6 feet above the stream bed. Suddenly, Teco lost his footing and plunged off of the rock into the stream. He was a little shook up, but wobbled his way out of the water and seemed OK, just wet.

I was at work when this chipmunk pounced on the screen of my window.
|
Packed up the dogs and drove the Mini down to Greg and Edna's place in Littleton for their going-away picnic. Hung out and snacked on food all afternoon and into the evening. Seera and their dog Neeka were getting along fine until Edna walked by and then Neeka got super defensive and attacked Seera. They had to be separated for the rest of my visit.

Drove into Belmont and met up with my friend Beth. We rented kayaks and paddled up and down the Charles, then bopped around Harvard Square... had some lunch, visited Newbury Comics and The Coop, then played a game of Scrabble in the park (i won).

Got up before everyone else was up and drove back to Vermont.
