Did inspection with Chase. I was sweep guide on the first tour of 7 and lead guide on the second tour of 1. Did a lunch shift in the Adventure Zone, then swept a last tour of 8.

Did inspection with Toni, then was lead guide on one tour of 8—had to do one retrieval on Zip 7. Thunder rolled in after that and i got to go home by 1:30.

Drove to Ned's cabin in the Adirondacks. We went for a canoe trip to the swimming beach, had a good dinner, then went out for ice cream in between rainstorms.

Left Ned's cabin and headed towards Shunk. Picked up some Moss Motoring Challenge points along the way and had to pull over to wait out a heavy downpour at one point. The Mini was running hot, but after a longer-than-anticipated drive, i made it to the lake.

Did some pothole-filling on the grade.

Picked bluebarries and made jam.

Took a walk with Nina, Jason, Isaiah, and Java to Wheelerville and back.

Filled up with gas at the Shunk General Store, then drove to Emily's house in Honesdale. Toured the grounds with Zack until Emily came home and we had lunch, then i worked my way back home. Long day of driving but the Mini ran well all the way. I got stuck behind a road-striping truck for about five miles somewhere in New York.

Did inspection with Adeline, then led a tour of 6. Did lunch shifts in the challenge course and Adventure Zone, then led a tour of 8. Hung around until 5:45 waiting for disc golf league, but nobody showed.

Did inspection with Shaun, then was the sweep guide for three tours, of 2, 7, and 9.

Rainy day. Drove in to work and waited for twenty minutes or so until everyone on the 8:30 tour cancelled, then went home. Went up to the farm late in the afternoon where i was going to pick up Callie for the weekend, but Kara and Ryan decided that they'd drop her off at my house on Saturday while i was at work.

Did two tours as sweep guide with Shaun, then he had to go work on the mountain coaster, so i led one tour with Adeline. Came home to see Callie's nose in my livingroom window. She stayed the night.

Callie climbed up on the bed sometime during the night. Led three tours of 7 each with Toni. On the last tour, one of the guests dropped her phone on Zip 4, so Toni drove me up on the 4-wheeler and i found it, since i'd seen where it had landed.

Worked in the challenge course all day. Pretty slow. I poked a hole in the bottom of a cup so that i could see the barely-eclipse as it was happening. It definitely got a bit dimmer outside, but it was almost not noticeable.

Another day in the challenge course. Crazy busy in the morning, then it slowed down in the afternoon.

Shaun and i did zipline inspection but there were no tours in the morning so i spent a while inspecting all of the harnesses, then worked in the challenge course for a while so people could take their lunches, then Shaun and i had a tour of 6 in the afternoon (i was sweep guide).

Farm.

Drove down to Magic Mountain and played Magic's new disc golf course (which i helped to design) today. Nice! Very lefty-friendly. I bogied hole 1 (bounced off the chains), then stepped up to hole 2... a nice medium-long throw, and... CHING! My third-ever ace.

Led a tour of 9 with Chris (Shaun called out), then led a tour of 2 and a tour of 6 with Toni. I was going to drive over to Weston to see if there were any classic of antique cars still around from a car show that day, but as i climbed over Terrible Mountain, the Mini started kicking and bucking, as if it was mis-firing on a cylinder or two. I stopped and cleaned the distributor cap, then nursed it home.

Was supposed to be paired with Toni, but Chase called out so i ended up leading a tour of 9 with Katie, then Katie led the next two tours, one of 3 (our friend Jamie and her parents) and one of 2. The last tour was a couple, and he proposed to her at the end of Zip 5. Pretty cool.

Worked in the challenge course. very slow. Jamie came by in the afternoon and i spent an hour or so sitting on the top of the tower talking with her.

Another slow day in the challenge course. We were just about to close up when we had three guests come out, but they went through the course fairly fast.

Showed up for inspection at about 10 of 8:00 and found that Shaun had already headed up. I hustled and caught up to him at the top of the course as he was zipping in on line 1. We did one tour of 4, then i worked in the challenge course, then we had another tour of 4 at 3 o'clock. We finished at about 10 of 5:00 so i hung around until 5:30 and shot a round of disc golf with Keith and Tommy. We were all tied at -1 at the end of the front 9 but i ended up with a -2 and took the top spot.
