Did the morning inspection run with Shaun, then we were scheduled to do a 6-person tour but we had an hour and a half thunder delay. It poured rain, but then cleared up and Shaun and i took the three people who didn't reschedule out on a tour. No rain during the tour but it started to rain again just as we finished. The afternoon zip tours were cancelled.

Did two tours with Chase—he led the first one and i led the second.
That night i drove over to Ludlow to get a pic of the Mini with fireworks in the background.

Shaun and i did a morning tour of 9 people and Shaun had a gnarly, LONG retrieval on zip 5, which wore him out, so i took over as lead guide for the last two zips. I had to do one retrieval on zip 7. After that we immediately went into another 9-person tour, where i led, since Shaun was still beat. There were three adults and six kids—two girls who were barely heavy enough for the tour— and amazingly, all of the kids caught all of the throw ropes on both zip 5 and zip 7. Following that, we went right into a third tour, but this one only had two people, so it was pretty mellow. Shaun led and i swept.

Shaun and i did a tour of 5 then a tour of 8. Shaun led the first tour and had to do one retrieval on zip 7. I led the second one and did no retrievals! After those two tours were done i worked in the Adventure Zone on the climbing wall for the rest of the afternoon.

Did a tour with Toni, then went home early. Stopped by Wright Construction because i saw a cool old car in the parking lot. Ended up talking to the owner about his 1947 Crosley for a while. Late in the afternoon i got a message asking if i could work the next day.
Disc golf league night. Dan G. and i were the only two people who showed, so we just played the front 9.

Came in on my day off and did one tour with Brady (i was sweep) and that was supposed to be it, but right when we got back, Toni was about to go out on another tour and needed another guide. I volunteered as long as i could be sweep again.

Day off. Stayed inside all day.

Did three tours with Toni, the first two as lead guide, the last as sweep. Did my first two retrievals on Zip 5 during the second tour when two guests in a row tripped the EAD and i missed catching them. A bit tiring, but not terrible.

First time teamed up with Adaline. We did the inspection run, then three tours. I was pretty beat by the end, but we got through the day with zero retrievals. I also got some Difference Dollars for coming in on my day off the week before.

Had a chiropractic appointment, which didn't seem to do much.

Morning inspection plus two zip tours with Chase. The first tour had a dad and daughter who were from Albania. The second had a couple from Latvia. After those two tours i was sent to the Challenge Course where very little was happening. Some of the other employees were timing themselves on course 2. I did it as well and beat 'em by 10 seconds with a time of 1:06. That was the first time i'd ever been timed but i bet i could break a minute.
Disc golf league night. Only three people showed (me, Keith, and Tim G.) so we played a round but didn't update any scores. I think i shot a +2 or +3.

Late inspection with Shaun in the rain It was made even later by Shaun getting stuck on platform 6 when he tripped the EAD. I waited for about twenty minutes on platform 5 and when i finally zipped in, there were two trucks, a 4-wheeler, and about five extra people there. We had 2 tours scheduled but just as we were about to start the first one of two people, the six people for the later tour showed up so we just did one tour with all of them in the drizzly rain. By the time we were done, everything else was closed down.
Went to ultimate and there was only a couple of us there, but slowly people showed up and we eventually played 4 on 4.

Toni and i did inspection, then had a tour of 6 (i lead, Toni swept). After that we rode with Chase and Adaline's tour up to the top of the ziplines where we hung out for a while until their tour got far enough along, then we adjusted the length of the rope on the zipstop on Zip 4. I went out and did a lunch shift in the challenge course, then Chase and i did a tour of one 70-year-old man (i lead again).

Took a drive in the Mini down to Wilmington, VT, then over to Sportscar Services in Keene, then back home.

Disc golf league night actually happened after a few weeks of very few people showing. I shot a +2 and stayed in my #3 spot on the board.

They only needed one zip team so i took a hike up to tower 2 to retrieve a dropped glove, then zipped through and carried the water jug down to the bottom to get refilled. I spent the rest of the morning in the challenge course, then took over for Brady and did the last zip tour of the day with Shaun. I was the sweep guide, but Shaun had to climb out on the line on Zip 2, then had a long retrieval on Zip 5, so i took over as lead guide for the last two zips.
