I got up and had some time before i needed to be at Bryant University to observe the New England D-III Regionals, so i took Seera out for a walk in the woods. Mark asked if i'd jake Java along, which i did. When i got back to the house though, Mark's car was gone, all the doors were locked, and no one answered the bell. I sat on the back porch for about an hour and a half until Mark came home, at which time i discovered that Nina had been inside the whole time, but hadn't heard the doorbell because she was in the shower. I raced over to Bryant and arrived to start observing on the 3rd or 4th point of the game. Kate and i observed two more games with no major issues except that during the Brandeis-Bryant final, one of the Brandeis people complained to me a few times about the Bryant fans, who were booing a specific player. Just "booooo!" nothing more. I didn't do anything about it.

Drove back up to Vermont.

1234567

Walked around the farm on a drizzly day.

Drove down to Philly. Followed my GPS in, which took me a weird way into the city. Next time i'm gonna stop listening to it after a certain point. Accompanied Daddy to the airport to pick up Sarah and Toby.

Hung out at my parents house, interspersed with trips down to 30th Street Station to pick up Charlie & Liz (one trip) and Star (another trip). Went walking in the Wissahickon woods between rainstorms with Toby and Sarah.

Walked with Seera in Carpenter's woods in the morning (lots of other dogs out for walks with their humans) then went to Daddy's 90th birthday luncheon at the Germantown Cricket Club. After that was present-opening for Daddy back at the house.

Another walk to the William Penn statue and along the Wissahickon to Kitchen's lane. Sarah took some pictures of me pointing to where i used to climb up the rocks below the statue. On the walk back up Kitchen's Lane, Seera was very tired and limping and she didn't want to move while on the leash. I ended up carrying her part way up the road. She was okay again once we got to flatter ground.

Drove up to Shunk.

Ran into Bob when i was taking pictures of the spilldam. He arrived with a new fourth board to put in. Mommy arrived to help open up the house.

That morning, i got a message from the TV show @Midnight that i could be one of the "lucky followers" to be a part of "Tag Team Tuesday." I had to send them a pic of my driver's license and sign a form and sure enough, i was on the show, but the person i was teamed with didn't win.

That evening, Seera climbed up onto the sofa. I've never seen her do that in her entire life. I guess she needed a soft spot to sleep.

Mommy and i toured around the new roads on our top property where the gas pipeline has been put in.

Spent the day filling in the potholes on the railroad grade. When i stopped at the end of the grade in Ellenton, i walked over to a falling-down barn to take some pictures. Ferne Gochnauer, who used to own the barn, came across the road from her house and we spent half an hour talking about Ellenton and the S&NY Railroad. She showed me where a survey marker was right at the end of our road that i hadn't known about.

After getting the road in shape, Seera and i walked up along the new pipeline a ways.

Checked out one of the huge gas well pads on our property.

A few deer walked by the house this morning. Rained most of the day.

Got up early and drove back to Vermont.

Back on the farm.

Dropped off my Mini at Tony's garage in Ludlow and walked with Seera up around West Hill Recreation Area while it was getting an oil change, new tires, and an inspection.

Disc Golf League Night. I shot a +3 and tied with Nuge and Charles. Order was decided by the Closest-To-the-Pin contest, and i ended up with the #5 tag.

15161718192021

I was walking with Seera by the tracks when a big dog came bounding over to greet us. Just after he and Seera had checked each other out, the schoolbus came and a boy got out, called to the dog, and they walked home up their driveway.

Went for a drive. I needed some pictures for the Moss Motoring Challenge 2016 so i drove up Route 100 and 100A to Bridewater, then across Route 4 to Rutland, then the back way from Rutland to Evening Song Farm.

Seera and i went for a hike up past Palmer's new house and on our way back ran into her just pulling her old Dodge Dart out of her garage for the first time this season. We visited for a while and checked out her new place.

I'd been wondering how my old zoom lens would work with taking pictures of the vegetable rows at the farm, so i put it on my camera and headed over, getting stopped by a passing train at the bottom of their road. It was weird shooting in total manual mode, since this old lens was not automatic, and it made me remember that that's how i used to shoot all the time back on film.

Another drive around with the Mini, but just over to Wallingford and back. I stopped at the Handmade In Vermont store and talked with Christopher for a while.

Disc Golf League Night. Once again there was a 3-way tie, this time with me, Nuge, and Tommy at par. The #1 tag wasn't in play, so Tommy got the #2 and i got the #3.

Farm.

It was a beautiful day and i felt like going for a drive so went down to the Branch Brook in Mt. Tabor. Seera and i walked along the brook for a bit, then i decided to drive west, since Route 7 had been all torn up for repaving and wasn't a fun drive coming down it. I'm glad that i made that decision since i came across a DAF 750 automobile, made in The Netherlands, which is a cool find for the Moss Motoring Challenge. I took a pic then continued on up to Tinmouth and back home.

I woke up at 4:45 AM and couldn't get back to sleep, so i decided to drive the Mini over th Mt. Holly and find a spot to get a picture of a sunrise for the Moss Motoring Challenge. After that i went over to the farm to get some pics there, since i'm hardly ever there in the early morning.
