Walked the dogs along the tracks. Gorgeous sunny day.

Okemo fall training day. The snowboarders got to play outside on a bunch of skateboard-type things that K.C. brought along. I was not mentioned as a supervisor, and a couple of people noticed that.
Two instructors, Mike and Tom, came over to my house to check out my rooms for rent.

Hiked along the road at the end of beaver Meadow Road.
Joe Henderson came over to see the room that i had originally talked to him about renting. He and his son decided to take it, which meant that i had to bump one of the two others. I first called Mike, since he wanted the bigger room that i was going to rent to Joe, but he opted to take the smaller room, which means i had to bump Tom. Not fun.

Aaron and i were going to drive over to Hanover to see The Alloy Orchestra perform along with a silent movie, but Aaron's truck broke down, so by the time he arrived at our designated meeting spot (Black River Produce), it was too late to make it to the movie. Oh well. I had waited about half-an-hour and was just about to pull out of the parking lot when he drove in.

Hiked along the Healdville Trail.

Hiked from the end of beaver Meadow Road again.

Opening day at Okemo. I worked at the sign shop until about 9:00, then drove over to the base area and took a few runs on the 2 trails that were open. I ran into Bill Austin and another ski instructor and rode the lift with them.

More snow!

Thanksgiving. I taught a 2-hour private lesson, and was invited over to John Donohue's parents house for dinner, but by the time i got home, i was too worn out to go anywhere, so i had some chicken soup.
