I repainted the letters on the signs that i put up along the road black. I originally had them white, but that didn't read very well.

Took a hike with my mom up to inspect where we had a lot of logging done on our property.

My friend Aaron and his dad Stan arrived on their motorcycles from VA on their way to Lake George, NY. I took them on a little driving tour of the Baumunk Lake Property.

Aaron and Stan headed north. I headed south down to Williamsport to shop and see X-Men III.

Dug up the french drains to reposition them for the new porch extension.

After putting in new drain pipe i discovered that one side wasn't draining. After some investigation and a lot of digging, i replaced about 12 feet of absolutely crushed drain pipe, covered it all back over, and finally finished the french drain job.

I started turning a piece of old cherry that i'd cut from some piled-up old stumps and a little way into it, it came apart and conked me pretty hard on the noggin. Ow.

The dogs follow me down the lake when i go out for kayak rides.

Up at the top of the hill where the loggers made a big clearing.

Pulled the main frame of the treehouse up into place. I had built the temporary scaffolding and hung the chains earlier.

Packed up the truck and the dogs and drove to Emily and Brian's house in Honesdale, PA.

Drove from Honesdale to Greg and Edna's house in Littleton, MA. I stopped in Devens on the way there to check out the ultimate tournament going on and got a ticket for parking one space out of the lined parking spaces (where other people were parked as well since the lot was full). Grrr...

Played with "Fossil Fuel" in the one-day Grand Masters tournament in Devens. We won our first game against ?? 12-10, lost our second to ?? 15-14, then got pummeled by New York in the semi-final 15-3. We were supposed to play ?? again for 3rd, but they'd had enough, so we played a pick-up game.

Hung around Edna and Greg's feeling tired and achy.

Drove down to Providence and hung around Javaspeed feeling tired and achy.

Drove up to Belmont, MA to meet Alisa, a friend of Abby's sister Phoebe. We had some good Boston pizza, ice cream, then sat in a playground for an hour or so talking. I got home at about 1:30 AM.

Picked up Thomas at the Providence airport. He was a little surprised.

Took Thomas over to Javaspeed for a bit. That afternoon we went to see Pixar's Cars (me for the 1st time, Thomas for the 2nd).
