Went to see Monsters, Inc.

Spent the weekend building a room in the office.

Baked pies. Jason and Cara came over for a visit and we took the dogs out to the woods for a walk. Seera bumped into a passing car as we were crossing a street (my fault, i told her it was OK to cross before the car was all the way past), but no damage done.

Wendy bought me a ticket for the first Harry Potter movie. I was reluctant to go, but joined the White/Fords to see it. I never went to see any of the other films though. I have my own visions of what J.K. Rowling's world looks like and i'd rather see the books that way than to have them spoiled by someone else's vision.

Spent Thanksgiving at home not doing much. The White/Fords were out of town.

I went down to the Chicago Theater to see King Crimson. The opener was John Paul Jones, who used to play bass for some old 70's band called Led Zeppelin. He played a nice set, but some people around me were annoyed that he didn't play more Zep tunes and i actually saw people leave after his set, not staying for the main act. Dorks.

King Crimson was loud but good. Adrian Belew had lost his voice so wasn't singing much and some of the songs that normally had words turned into instrumentals.

Bought some hip-hoppy poppy CDs today: Madonna "GHV2 (Greatest Hits, Volume 2)" and Jurassic 5 "EP". I dig 'em both, although one of my coworkers was rather appalled that i liked Madonna. Honestly i pretty much listen to the last half of the CD and skip the first 5 or 6 songs.
